About Kevin

Attorney Kevin F. Mulvey specializes in legislative and executive advocacy, government relations, state and municipal procurement, and business and economic development. Kevin has more than two decades of working for and representing clients in the public service arena. 

 

He has worked for a variety of legislative and executive branch agencies, developing and maintaining key contacts and relationships.

 

After leaving the public sector, Kevin became General Counsel for the Retailers Association of Massachusetts. He was a Principal at Fort Hill Advisors, a boutique lobbying firm located on Beacon Hill in Boston.  He also worked in the Government Law & Strategies Legal practice at the Law Firm of Brown Rudnick.  Kevin was a Principal at the Dewey Square Group, a Public Affairs consulting firm.  As part of Dewey Square’s State and Local Affairs practice, he represented a diverse set of clients from the energy, high tech, healthcare, finance, consumer and non-profit sectors.  Kevin also created and managed Dewey Square’s state and municipal procurement practice.

 

Kevin is an advisory board member to Insurance Menu, a company that assists insurance carriers and broker partners grow their business in the small group market. He served 8 years on the American Liver Foundation’s New England Board of Directors and 6 years as its President.  He served 10 years on the Reading Housing Authority Board of Directors. He also served as a Public Administrator for over six years in Middlesex County.

 

Kevin has a lengthy history of successful accomplishments including Legislative and Administrative initiatives in healthcare, energy, sports and entertainment, transportation, and technology. State and Municipal procurement awards have been achieved for vendor service contracts, outdoor advertising, and energy services.

 

Kevin is a 1991 graduate of Stonehill College and a 1996 graduate of the Massachusetts School of Law; admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in June 1997. He is married to his wife Barbara, has four sons and resides in Reading, MA.
